Where Kembu is heading God only knows! Today at exactly 7pm I was infuriated by lack of quick response by the necessary authority to a distressed citizen who actually pay taxes to enable government to provide services especially security. There was an injured Boda Operator who, through my human feeling I and my friend and also workmate took the responsibility of looking for appropriate help first from the nearby Administration Police but we were harshly send away without even inquiring into what really happened to the young man. Thanks to Daktari Julius for his untiring help. We were able to be assisted! This are my grievances; The Administration Police who were expected to help in times of need are not acting to the capacity, instead they are quick to go round the village collecting money from illicit brewers, I once met one of the AP in my village particularly Menet just after Mogoma Sec School collecting money from brewers! Kembu has been a place of all evil deeds ranging form fornication, robbery and even bodily harm and there is no measures has been taken. Kembu Administration Police station need to be reconsidered if it is to remain functioning or dismissed, we are regretting the transfer of Ngetich. Some of officers are beating up the culprits to an extend of locking up in a toilet instead of a more humane environment. I was once told someone died in chiefs cells under mysterious circumstances many years ago with some theories explaining that he was mercilessly beaten and I see the same will repeat itself if unnecessary acts of the officers are not contained. Jesus come soon for we maybe saved from the jaws of rude and arrogant officers, who call for a bribe to provide services that are expected from them.
