Where angels fear to tread, Peter, the Vicar of Christ, our Holy Father, Pope Francis, comes to visit his flock in Tacloban. Despite the storm. Despite the danger. Despite the inconvenience. Jesus in the midst of souls who suffered much in life. Such caring gesture. Such consolation. Such hope. Such love. The Philippines have not experienced that kind of love from a leader for so many years now. The nation is so desperate for a True Shepherd. So many have lost their way and exploit the poor, so many fled our country to earn a living or just escape the misery. So much sufferings. So much hypocrisy. So much exploitation. So many plunder. So much distrust. So much hatred. Truly we are a divided nation. Heal us. Embrace us. Love us. We need Jesus more than ever. Show us how to love. To be true and without prejudice in everything we do. Be the light in the darkness. Show us the way. Guide us. Maraming salamat sa inyong malasakit para sa bansang Pilipinas. Malasakit para sa lahat ng Pilipino saan man sila sa buong mundo. We love you, Pope Francis!
