Where can I find God’s omniscience and omnipresence in the Bible? Topic(s): Bible Study Todd Clippard Though the words omniscient and omnipresent are not found in the scriptures, they are nonetheless taught in regard to the power of God. Gods omnipresence and omniscience are taught in Psalm 139:7-12 . . . 7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall fall on me, Even the night shall be light about me; 12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You. NKJV Gods omniscience is also mentioned in many other places. But I like Hebrews 4:12-13 speaks of how all things are naked and open in the eyes of God. The word naked has reference to what is seen on the outside. The word open has reference to Gods ability to know everything about what is on the inside (our thoughts, etc). By the way, God’s omnipresence is implied by His omniscience. If God knows everything, then it stands to reason that God is everywhere.
