Where did the time go? Passengers wore suits and fine dresses, treating air travel like the privilege it is. Flight attendants served hot meals on china, with real silverware and cocktails in real glasses. Our profession has strenuous requirements. That said, if an individual continues to meet those standards, and in the absence of mandatory retirement, age discrimination, subtle or overt, is simply unacceptable. I truly hope that Mr. Reardon made the decision to retire freely, with pride and dignity. Well done sir!
