Where did we get the idea we cant change? You dont have to spend your life with your hang ups. You can change! Even if youve worried every day of your life,you dont have to worry for the rest of your life. Just because you were born in bigotry and predudice..you dont have to die that way. Just because you grew up in a home of yelling and screaming..you dont have to treat your kids that way. Whats the source of comments like...Im a worrier. Im just pessimistic...nothing goes right. I dont like polka dot people..my parents didnt so I dont People only listen when I raise my voice at them..intimidate them. Would you say that about your body? Its just my nature to have a broken leg,I cant do anything about it. No..you wouldnt..youd get help. Because if our body malfunctions..we get help. Shouldnt we do the same for our soul, our soul attitudes...our selfish part our ugly parts of our soul? Isaiah 64:8 says We are like clay,and you are the potter. God doesnt look at our past to determine our future. Like the series my Pastor is teaching..move forward! Like the potter,He can take you,mold you...and make you into a vessel of honor and hope.
