Where do I start about the weekend!? I know I won’t do it justice, but here are just a few of the things I LOVED about the event Sharon and Dave treated us to: 1) The campsite and the excellent arrangements for getting set up there on arrival; 2) Sleeping and waking up in our new motorhome; 3) Spending precious time with my lovely daughter and our 3 lovely pooches; 4) Beautiful surroundings and GREAT canicross course; 5) Team Haribo – we had so many giggles it was unreal! 6) The rather lush speaker on Saturday night, who had many words of wisdom of how to train dogs that have natural guarding instincts and prey drive – lots of useful tips for Nicole and I to try out with Marley. I especially enjoyed seeing Boston the Rottweiler having a go at Chris in the demo! 7) Sleeping and waking up in our new motorhome; 8) Seeing Nicole in her element - running brilliantly and coming second in the two-dog class on Saturday, running brilliantly again on Sunday morning, scoring a perfect 10 in the archery and generally putting 110% into everything she did over the weekend; 9) Seeing the pooches behave almost perfectly all weekend. Marley was the best he has ever been in any races with me so far and it really helped to be able to pick and choose where we positioned ourselves in the starting line up on Saturday; 10) Canoeing, climbing, running, strategizing, working together, winding each other up, giggling lots, etc, etc………and WINNING the team challenge with my Dream Team Haribo! 11) Lovely friendly and upbeat atmosphere the whole weekend created by Sharon, Dave, all the volunteers and all the participants – some great people who I hadn’t seen for AGES; 12) Taking only 5 minutes to pack up and leave when it was time to go (as opposed to 1 ½ hours with the T4 and awning)! :-)))))))
