Where do artists get some of their inspiration? Everywhere. Im often asked how I choose some of the colors I use when applying make-up. Often my colors are dictated by the assignment Im working on, I prefer working with certain colors when working with a bride, or certain colors when my assignment is to makeup someone who is selling a certain product. But when I have artistic freedom I often pair colors that I saw together in a garden, or mix colors I noticed in an Arizona sunset. It even could be mismatched colors I noticed on a child playing in a park. When you find yourself artistically stuck, just look around you. Its all their to delight our eye, its up to us to see it. Just a thought.
