Where do different faiths work well together for peace? This is Dan Damon, on air at 9 GMT. Well hear a report from Tim Whewell, who travelled around the Central African Republic with the Catholic Archbishop of Bangui and Central Africas chief Imam. They are close friends, and before going abroad to plead for more foreign peacekeeping troops to be sent to their troubled country, they undertook an arduous road trip around their own country, trying to talk to the killers who claim they are doing Gods work murdering people of another faith. There are similar examples of peace efforts across the religious divide in Nigeria, Israel and Palestine. Are similar things happening where you are? When does faith inspire people to tolerate different views? Which part of the scripture you read calls for acceptance rather than hatred? And what goes wrong, when people deny the rights of other to believe different things?
