Where has our humanity gone Pakistan? An ambulance driver speaks to us: Youre here showing your sympathy by doing a photo session/interview for your channel right? But have YOU ever raised your voice against this brutality? Dont you know who these people are? Dont you? Of course you do...you know them...even their forefathers and their family trees! Think hard youll figure out who Im talking about. They spend time overseas in Switzerland (he refers to our politicians corrupt Swiss bank accounts), while here in our country people are complaining (of the violence and corruption) and nothing is being done about it. LISTEN...LISTEN! (News reporter begins to slowly pull his microphone away). Listen to the anguish of our nation. Listen to me if you have a heart and any sense of humanity my friend! Dont think like its just someone elses child and it wont happen to you. Tomorrow it will be the body of your child you will carry in your hands! And then who will you turn to for justice? Who will listen to you? The Government? The Governor? The Prime Minister? The Chief Minister? Who? Come on people for God sake show some mercy for others, feel for others. Prove that youre a father, a son and a brother! Express that you at least feel pain on the deaths of children and prove that we are not numb and heartless beings. But alas, we all have become heartless. THIS WHOLE NATION IS SILENT! We do talk shows on these issues, we have discussions among ourselves, but no practical steps are ever taken. We talk more, and do nothing! Just look that innocent child...this small...this small...(he points to his forearm as a reference). What was his crime? That he was a baby of those people? That was his crime? Oh people I beg you for Gods sake, break this insensitivity! Break this silence! How long will we carry the lifeless bodies of our loved ones ? Even if an animal dies, the world grieves over it. And we dare call ourselves humans? Call ourselves Ashraf al-Makhloqat (the best among all creations)? We claim that the blood of an innocent person is greater than the sanctity of the Kaaba (in Makkah), yet we still dont care! For how long will we remain silent? For how long will we remain silent on this bloodshed? Tell me! Answer him not with words but by actions!
