Where has the th gone?.. Wanted, lost th !!! Im appalled by how many people pronounce words that begin with th, as ff.. Since when does theatre sound like ffeatre? And months sound like momffs.. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I cant fathom what is being taught in schools.. Do the teachers say I done, you done, you was, momffs, muver (mother), ffeatre etc. Id hate to be someone trying to learn English when English has been adapted so badly. Maybe I need to join in on the New English and stop pronouncing th and use the wrong tense? Question - Do teachers teach Grammar in school? Are teachers taught Grammar at Teachers College? My err in Grammar is not in pronunciation, it is to be lazy and rarely use punctuation when I write.. I use Im instead of Im and dont instead of dont, and its instead of its etc etc.. And I am not great at spelling.. :( Lets.. (woops).. Lets all try a bit harder in all ways this year? Employers notice these things, lets do better?
