Where has the time gone? I lived in Woodstock six years after the concert, stood in the same field, empty, and yet, I closed my eyes, and I could feel the souls of the thousands who believed, believed that they could make a change, a difference in a torn society, a torn world. I felt that powerful message, truly, my skin chilled as the goosebumps grew in numbers. Now, well, now not so much. Our world has changed so dramatically from the Love, Unity and the Spirit of Peace. Peace, such an easy word to say, such an easy concept, at least on the drawing board. Tears well in my eyes, when I think it was just forty six years ago, and now, it seems like the true memories, are so wrapped up in Technology, old photos, and kids make believing they were us. Our songs that inspired us, moved us, strengthen us into Changing the Man, are sold by Time Life on infomercials. Have we all become blind to our governments rut of injustice, or the wars that take our children away that we wont stand up for whats right as a whole united voice. Yes, Im crying, not afraid to admit that I think we are too far gone anymore. I just want to lay in that field, one more time, and feel those goosebumps one more time. Love, Peace, and to let you all know, I STILL BELIEVE WE CAN ♡
