Where is Wangtshè Chirphel…!!! Gewogs’ budget are slashed and constructions of farm roads, which were earlier with the gewogs are now either taken over by Ministry of Works and Human Settlement or the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests with the gups playing no part in their construction or maintenance. Is this Wangtse Chhipel? Some 500 schools all across the country are now being consolidated into less than 150 schools where even the supply of grocery and vegetables are now centralized. Is this Wangtshe Chhipel? Recruitment and management of civil service below P5 used to be decentralized to the Departments and ministries earlier. Now these are taken over directly by the RCSC. Is this Wangtshe Chhipel? Going by the government’s fixation on centralization and consolidation, here is an idea to solve the rural urban migration problem. Why not consolidate all 20 thromdès into one centralized and consolidated camp!
