This past week, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the authority on Islam today, declared that atheists are terrorists and under new sweeping laws they can be persecuted like Al Qaeda. So a pan-Islamist terror organization that is responsible for killing thousands on September 11, 2001 and tens of thousands of Muslims throughout the Islamic World is treated the same as rational thinkers and scientists who peacefully question the existence of God and man-made religion. Do you blame Islam or the Saudis for the inhumane persecution of atheists? Could this be sign that the house of cards of Islam is poised to collapse and usher the way for secularism?
