We at Sanctuary send our deepest sympathies to this young police officer shot and killed last night in upstate NY by a parolee just released from prison! He leaves behind a wife, a 4 year old and a 3 month old... This is a heart-breaker where catch and release with a slap on the back of the hand for criminals leads to the the death of real innocents trying to save lives and keep citizens safe..
