Where is your love? The world has its view of love as seen - TopicsExpress

Where is your love? The world has its view of love as seen through countless songs, interviews, TV and Movies, but what is Gods view of love and does that view follow your love, this is a good question we all should be searching the answer? We all have felt the touch of love and it’s warming effects on our lives, but is there a deeper meaning past just a feeling, I thank there is? If we read what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians we will get a better understanding of what God sees how love should be received by each of us. 1 Corinthians 13 (NKJV) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. The question is what, how, why, when, and from what motive, self, love, and love of what? If we look at verse 6 we find the answer to true love, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; so without hating sin and rejoicing in the truth, there is no true love, only the love as the world sees it. So when we pour out of ourselves, continue to hate sin and always rejoice in the truth, for we were set free from our chains of bondage by the truth. The world gives without the understanding of the gospel, they see not the ways of the Lord, and they are chained as slaves to satin knowing not the truth. Christians should love His truths, for a loving servant is like of pure gold coin showing radiance among all of Gods people, so take the truth with you and bring light to the world. Have a blessed day my friends.
