Where the USA got it wrong? Well, they got it wrong as all the other powerfull states and empires before them: instead of promoting the principles and fundamental values that made them strong, they have promoted or allowed exactly the opposite, out of an irrattional fear that they might be overthrowned if the others became strong and have the same basic values. Therefore, they became a minority, in spite of all chances to expand their basic set of principles. As the time goes by, the things that they allowed and consolidated around, start to get as a general norm around the world, thus making USA a minority within their own game, more and more away from their own set of values, values that even their own people grasp les and less. And, usually, when this is becoming evident, it is too late. That devious conspiracy called stupidity wins again.
