Where the original painter had used one single design by Rembrandt for the left mural; the mural to the right of the altar appeared completely shattered, painfully patched together from ill positioned images. I deducted that the portfolio of painter did lack adequate resources for the Raising of the Death Woman. However, something about several of the figures appeared vaguely familiar and pointed to the bible illustrations of Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld, 1794-1872. ( Being a romantic, I always wished for a name like that. ) Examining a book of his illustrations I identified figures that resembled those in the original mural or I deemed better suited. Of the three murals, this was the more interesting for me since it provided a challenge and allowed at least some creativity.
