Where to start today is kind of hard! I guess the first thing I have to start with is Mark is getting some real food( well as real as he can get for hospital food)! He doesnt like it to much, but he ate some of it! Then PT came by and Mark stood up all 61 of him and walked from the bed to the door!! I was so excited that I had to sit down and just thank God right then and there!! He sat back down set up in the chair with that cocky attitude of accomplishment that Mark has and smiled so big, I almost burst out in tears! I told him we would be back on the basketball court in no time and he smiled and started practicing his shot( Hand in the cookie jar)He sleep so good last night and his spirits are strong as ever! We have surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30 am and a couple more days of the ICU then we will get to move up into a regular room! Im thinking at this point if all is well he maybe ready to start see yall by this weekend! Ill talk to the doctor after his surgery and see what he thinks but I know Mark is missing his friends, his church, and his coaches! So please say a very big prayer for my sons surgery to go well, pray for the nurses, surgeons, and medical staff to be focused and steady! Please say a prayer for Mark to stay strong! Pray for god to put this in his hands and take care of Mark!Thank yall so much for the words of encouragement and god bless each and everyone of yall!
