Where was this? When was this? This guy merely happened upon a scene he was legally entitled to video, these cops actually accosted him, and then as a result of their assault killed his dog. If they themselves escalate a situation, and in cases like this create one; they then are the criminal. Hormones and testosterone, along with poor training and false authoritarian mindsets; puts them at the forefront of criticism. (in cases like Ferguson, in which apparently the shoe may be on the other foot), but they are inviting / creating the perception. My car was stolen, and wrecked a couple years ago in GWINNETT COUNTY GA, before I even knew it.... 2 Cops were at my door not really explaining what happened an demanded to know where my car keys were at about 6 am. I was confused and they asked baited questions, before I figured out what the H.... They berated me about the car not being damaged and I must have been (possiblly) drinking and ran away from it. (WHAT?) so they insisted not even a widow was broke... I got frisked in the front yard and taken to the scene. and was accussed on the way of driving over lawns... At the scene I discovered they never opened the car door, nor looked inside to see the smashed steering column, etc.. (were they afraid if the dark?) there were 2 cars 2 cops, after that one one them retreated to his car and refused to talk to me & closed his window. Later he gave me a bogus accident report number to give to my insurance company. The shift supervisor accused me of mistreating his boys (oh Really) Im just saying they risk a lot putting on the badge everyday , but there is a disconnect nowadays . I emphasize with the good men/women who serve, and may God protect you, but the always guilty approach {some have} leads to scrutiny by us as a public It does personally change the way you think when it happens, as you have to think they may fly off the handle while they are momentarily in the war zone. You have to be careful and subservient to protect your self.
