Where were you and how did you hear about the attacks on 9-11-01? As for me, I was about four blocks north of the White House in the Washington Scholarship Fund offices -- told to turn on the news when our accountant arrived for a meeting. We saw the smoke of the Pentagon attack as we looked beyond the Old Executive Building from my office window, and then the entire downtown area was evacuated. My heart was forever bonded to two ladies on my team that I cherish to this day, Tracey M Johnson and Ethel K. Morgan-Craig. Angela LaBry was teaching in a Christian school with military family kids in her classroom whose parents were in the Pentagon when attacked. Very sobering time.
