Where were you last night when the Giants won the World Series? Well I was in the city at a Phish concert surrounded by thousands of Giants fans, with even thousands more just outside at the Civic Center watching the game live on a huge screen. Not but 10 minutes into the opening of the show, as a third of the crowd followed the 9th inning on their cell phones, the Giants won! Mid-song, the crowd went crazy realizing what just happened, erupting in screams for the home team. Recognizing the moment, Phish broke into the guitar riff from We Are the Champions with the audience singing along. It was pretty magical. Wait to go Giants and way to go Phish!
