Where were you on 9/11/01? I was at home on Greenwood Ave in Inglewood and Drew Harris was at Dan Mills Elem right down the road. Id always walk to his school in the afternoons even owning a car I liked the walk. I heard tons of kids playing and laughing and thats when I cried. I cried for the parents who lost kids. For the kids who lost parents. I reflected on the innocence of children and their purity. We arent born to hate, kill nor harm anyone. If you were alive you WILL know too. Our brains designed to hold on to those moments when trauma strikes. We will forever remember VIVID details, kinda like when we get news a loved one has passed, learning of a car accident involving someone we care about. Some things I cant remember, honestly lots of things I cant, but I do remember that day and even the physical and emotional feelings of that day.
