Where were you on September 11, 2001? I will never forget that day. Just like the day that President Kennedy was shot... I will never forget... I was a Writer/Editor on assignment in a government agency. I was one of the newer consultants and just learning my way around. Days before, I had spent most lunchtimes in the courtyard of the building praying. I felt that the Lord had revealed some things to me (INCLUDING VIA A DREAM) and requested that I increase my prayers for this nation and the leadership. I was walking down the hallway from my office. I dont even remember now where I was headed. We all had offices with doors and kept them open most of the time. As I passed one of my clients offices, I could see several people aghast at what they were watching on the computer screen. As I peered in (it was too crowded to enter), I couldnt believe my eyes... What was THAT? What was going on? It seemed surreal... I left the building that day (they asked that we leave early), I was numb. I had taken the MARTA (the train) that day. As I went into the train station and was making my way to transfer, there was an eerie hush throughout. The normal din of noise was nowhere to be heard. I started to pray and sing... I started to sing out loud about Jesus... it seemed to keep everyone calm... and nobody said a word. That day, history was changed forever. I know my life and my perspective of life changed. I was patriotic before but now... but now... I love this nation so very much more. Somehow, a greater bond seemed to be formed between me and this nation... September 11, 2011... a day I will never forget.
