Where were you when the world stopped turning, that September day? With that opening line, Alan Jackson wrote what I believe was the greatest song that captured what happened 13 years ago today. We remember where we where. We remember what we were doing. We remember the horror that was September 11, 2001. We remember the heroes and we remember the victims. For no civilized society could ever forget the evil unleashed that day. We lost an innocence that was never really ours. So today we remember. We remember the losses. We revisit the pain. Each year the images that are burned into our brain are blurred by the passage of time. But we will never forget. We remember a country coming together. We remember our leaders leading. Looking to God and leaning on Him. Our churches became full. Our patriotism soared. Our anger burned. Our nation grieved. And then the world kept turning. It always does. But it wont always turn. One day this will stop for all of us as it did for those who perished on 9-11. They got no warning. They were there, doing life. And life stopped. Where will you be when the world stops turning? Ill be in heaven. In paradise. With Jesus. Ive made the arrangements and it is paid in full. Will you join me? John 3:16-18 ESV “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. Jesus is coming back again one day. He promises us that. This time, He will arrive much differently. This time He will come to condemn. Lord, let us remember this day in our nations history. Let us lean on You. Let us look to You for our salvation and our survival. Bless our nation, today. In Jesus Name
