Where will Mr. Putin stop? After Crimea, the question Which is haunting the west is whats Mr. Putins next? If we have to find out the answer of this, we must look for the real reason of Russias annexation of Crimea.Putin though always tried to validate his incursion by saying that he has been in Crimea to protect the ethnic Russians, but he could not cover his real intention for long behind this fig leaaf of his compassion for the ethnic Russian and it came out when he addressed the big crowds yesterday. He overwhelmingly told Crimea was, Crimea was the inevitable part of Russia. He took a step forward by saying it was the great mistake of then Soviet leader in 1954 to give Crimea to Ukraine. And in another occassion he expressed his view: the view many of we also share with, that the collapse of the Soviet Union is the greatest geo political catastrophe. All these statements and of course feeling of Mr.Putin indictes that he is in the job of reparing the damage caused to the Soviet Union. With this regard we can also take in consideration what Putin again said Soviet broke uo as at that time Russia was weak, vulnerable and was incapable of protecting it. Now under the leadership of putin, Russia, no doubt, has stand back and it is in his spirit to get back what it has lost. Even if its the case, Putin is in Crimea to save the ethnic Russia, can we fear for the same reason that he would be in Estonis, latvia, lithuania as these have also sizeable number of Russians? So if putin has stop from his drastic mission of saving the ethnic Russians or reuniting the old Soviet Union adopting the most callous strategy: invading a soverign nation under the pretext of human rights, the west must and the US must come up with proper diplomacy. Though so far all the diplomatic efforts have failed to see the light of the day.. It is too early to say but it looks like Putin is in the business of fanning the fumes ignoring all the civil conducts and international law, so the world should take the responsibolity to act more cautiously, prudently and of course effectively.
