Wherefore Art Thou Our geography forms the texture of our souls. The physical boundaries of environment are the scaffolding of character. Corn fields of suburban Richfield, Minnesota still stand tall and laden in my heart. The brisk winter winds left an endogenous chilling breeze whistling across structures of my encpassment. The grid pathways of my mind forever canopied by entwined branches of elegant elm trees hypnotizing me with fragmentary retina shiftshaping sun light. My skin wears the cool immersion of spring fed lakes. My annual cycles are tuned to the dramatic seasonal mutations of the Midwest prairie. My spirit continues to rise on cool Autumn morning mists over summer warmed waters. Minnesota wilderness and its denizens are lifeblood platelets coursing through my body bathing awareness and senses. The topography of our life journey is mapped by the chorography of our origins. As we remain or roam our physiographic background travels alongside and dwells within. My caravan configuration rests on a midwest foundation, upon which lies a formative assemblage of azure seas and roseate sands of Bahamian islands as well as the sultry warmth of SE Asian rice paddies and its enervated pock marked pathways. I am an amalgam of the places I have passed through, the gentle rolling of nutrient laden Iowa loam, the tremulous variegation of California coastal bustle, the carved canyons and majestic mesas of the southwest. I will, however, always stand firmly on an ancient enduring base of Minnesota granite.
