Now that youre looking, we wanted to thank two special vets who have a big heart for Kitty Harbor: Dr. Jamie Lovaglio, a Pasco vet who volunteers with Prevent Homeless Pets and Dr. Jan White of Renton Veterinary Hospital. Both wonderful women have volunteered tons of hours of skill, surgery, meds and advice as well as money to help particular kitties, including surgeries for fractures and a tail amputation on burley black Mouzer last fall. Send these good people your love. Dr. White can be found between Renton Veterinary Hospital (rentonvet/dr-jan-white.php) and South Sound Critter Care in Maple Valley (her passion for saving wildlife and a great place to volunteer - southsoundcrittercare). Dr.Lovaglio can be reached via Prevent Homeless Pets (preventhomelesspets.org) Kitty Harbor is almost OCD with our dedication to cleanliness. Its what keeps groups of cats living together healthy! Were running low on bleach and liquid laundry detergent (HE or High Efficiency) and were going shopping, but if you feel a desire to help, we would be thrilled! You can always drop off either of those two items near Kitty Harbors front door (safe under the chairs or behind our potted plants) or were usually there cleaning every evening. Say meow to the kitties while youre there!
