Whether gathering with hundreds (or even thousands) of believers or sharing in an intimate fellowship like that in the upper room that first resurrection day, the power of Easter has never been found in how many of us show up for church, but how much of us really belongs to Jesus. First and foremost, it is about the transformation of lives, families, neighborhoods and communities. We need to be careful what metric we use in measuring effectiveness. The risen Christ that we worship today will be at work tomorrow. Will we show up, too?
