Whether you are a musician or an artist, a teacher or a cook, God gave you those abilities to serve others. I know my talent is a gift from God. Im just not sure how to use it to glorify Him! When God gives you a talent, he expects you to use it. It’s like a muscle. If you use it, it will grow. If you don’t, you’ll lose it. If you have a talent but are afraid to use it, or if you get lazy and don’t use it to benefit others, you’re going to lose it. If you think your talents are simply for you to make a lot of money, retire, and die, you’ve missed the point of your life. God gave you talents to benefit others, not yourself. I pray about what to paint , even if it takes weeks to get an answer. Like this last one, the elephant? I asked for ideas on here a few days ago. The first answer from someone was an elephant. Yesterday I was scrolling through something and a beautiful picture of an elephant popped up! And last night someone asked me to paint elephant pictures for their baby room! Ive never really done an elephant before so that was confirmation to me. ( I could be totally wrong) Everytime I paint I push myself to be better and since I became a Christian my talent has gotten better. So my question is this..... How do I use this for God? Is this my gift? What do I do with it?
