Whew! Such a great feeling to know my college kids are done with finals for the semester! They all had a few tough weeks of huge projects, long papers and endless studying. As a mom your mind goes back to the pressure of your own college finals days but x3! My head has been spinning and my heart just aching for them. Megan as a senior was hit the hardest of course but even after her toughest week still has her sights on graduating with honors this spring! After all her recent campaigning shes very excited to have been elected to the board of her service fraternity! Her experience in this position will line up perfectly for her major. College life is definitely agreeing with Shannon too! Shes had a blast in Secondary Dominance the accapella group she auditioned for and she just landed a fantastic job in sales in her own apartment building! This will be wonderful for her sales/marketing degree. We dont see Brian much between school, rock climbing and holding down 3 jobs! His favorite position is as a Cary soccer coach! Hes receiving priceless experience after being elected Finance Senator at MCC... not to mention a free year of college!! Hes managed to maintain his 4.0 GPA all these years even in all his honors classes! I cant leave Bridget out! She has amazed me this her sophomore year at CGHS! Although I am tough on her shes always right there to meet the challenge with a great attitude and excellent grades! Shes taking four dance classes along with voice lessons this year and we have had so much fun watching her bloom! Needless to say even among the hustle and bustle of this season I sincerely appreciate the Peace my kids have brought me through all their sincere efforts!!
