Whew! They fixed the gas line...the new stove is in and dinner is cooking, laundry is caught up and hanging to dry, water is full- up, and I am ready for a nap...but its 6:30 pm. I should probably forgo that pleasure! Lol So far two rooms have been super duper cleaned and all the old stuff tossed and replaced..ie.. Caked up old spices, old pantry things, dry rotted undies in kids drawers.. Old soaps and toiletries ( originally pink hand soap... Now brownish! Yikes). Isnt it interesting how just the presence of a person in the house keeps things from decaying? How weird that being gone we should return to so much disrepair! Just because it sat unused!
