Whew! This may be a sizable one! Ok, so as many of you know- this past weekend we hosted the Bucksport Bay Festival of the Forest Auto Show...(plenty of photos and links to photos on this page!) First and Foremost; THANK YOUs are in order (in no particular order tho!) A big shout-out to Leslie Wombacher, Chris Grindle, and the lovely ladies and staff down at the Chamber of Commerce for assistance and the ability to trust us with this big event. We are glad we hit it out of the park for you guys, and are already looking forward (and starting plans!) for next year..(its how we roll!) Our Judges...Dave Winchester, Andy Osborne, Charlie Bishop, and Joel Pelletier...We appreciate the time you took to come over and help us with event; thank you for your patience, and effort...we had a couple of road-bumps, but you guys worked with us to make it a success, and again...I cannot thank you enough! Nanita Hardie and Jen Shinozuka....Without your help on the registration/Q+A/errand/Misc. odds and ends......we would have been in the weeds...truly invaluable, and you helped us keep it together..Absolute Rockstars...thanks!!!!!!! The Highway Legends....Thank you guys for being involved with us through the cruise-ins. Having this partnership with us has helped make people aware that we offer a great spot for classic autos and such...We love you guys, and in turn..you do help make us a classic car destination..! Our Staff! Some of the most hardworking, gracious, and polite kids on the planet. You want to talk about grace under fire? tell a handful of teenagers (and a couple old folks! ;) ) that they will be SWAMPED with people, lines, and a bunch of issues, questions, etc....Schedule them ALL of them to work that day in a small building, and oh...its an open-close shift for most of them. And you get a smile, and Bring it on. Awesome. The Best. I would work with all of you any time, any day..... FINALLY... Ok, there is probably quite a few other people out there that slipped my mind (sorry!) but all-in-all...we would like to thank everyone who came out, spectator or competitor...thanks for making this show a success...it essentially should be considered that EVERYONE deserves a pat on the back for this.... From the whole staff here @crosbys.....THANKYOU!!!!! (And if you still have that classic car urge....Thursday is the Weekly HIGHWAY LEGENDS/CROSBYS Cruise-in....4:30ish to 7:000ish....Great cars, Excellent people, stellar food and atmosphere....cant be beat! we hope to see you then!)
