Whew! Today was a rough one for me but I made it through the tour. We went to the Villa Borghese Museum and gardens. Unfortunately no pictures were allowed inside. It was magnificent! Bernini sculptures galore. My favorite is Appolo and Daphne. The detail was amazing and realizing its about 500 years old, wow! Paintings by Raphael, and so many others whose names I cant spell. Lol The art was endless and breathtaking! I was hurting and so tired and unfortunately didnt get to enjoy it quite as much because of that and got a little snippy with my honey but still it was a great experience. Back at the hotel now and they upgraded us to a much nicer and bigger room with a big soaking tub so I can soak my sore feet and back. Im going to post some of our pics from today and also post some from the internet of some if the art we saw at the Borghese.
