Whew finally bout to unwind for a bit! Tired but thankful because after reading all the testimonies and what Ive seen today was so heartbreaking. Seeing the trees, businesses, houses, signs and etc. was unbearable and gave me chills! I cant imagine about the ones involved in the storm! Here I was getting calls left and right by parents wondering if their child/children okay (and I thought of it as a basic storm) saying yes cause I was cooking and the kids was playing in different centers in our own little world! Lol but didnt know we had such a disaster! Praying for the people who lost their homes and belongings, I know its hard to deal with but if u made it thru THIS storm (weather) U can make thru THIS storm (life)! Also this just shows that NEITHER side of Monroe is better than the next! Yes the South was hit but not more than the West and North sides. People down talk the South and East sides and belittle the people as if were nothing but when the storm comes it doesnt pick and choose a what side is WORST! The ones that belittle us will need our help to clean up! The moral of this situation should be dont wait to a disaster hit to work together but work together before it comes! #He giveth and He can take it away! #We are ALL part of this community! :)
