Whew, we are home in Jonesboro we arrived here last Thursday night - TopicsExpress

Whew, we are home in Jonesboro we arrived here last Thursday night and are so grateful and thankful to be here. This last round of chemo has been a booger on Rick. His entire digestive track was damaged, it ate his stomach lining and lining to his intestines. He has been in miserable pain. He spent 11 days in the hospital. On top of all that he fractured another vertebra. This past month has been terribly hard on Rick, however it seemed as each day got worse when we opened our devotion and/or Bible God provided us the word we needed. He reminded us of his love, to have faith, that he would never leave us. And the entire time we felt his presence with us. This past month it wasnt us walking alone in this horrific journey it was him carrying us, him going to the father on our behalf. We met with the doctor before coming home and he told us that this treatment killed most of the cancer. That his lesions have shrunk. When we started this journey Rick Kappa counts were 700, which is way to high. After the first treatment it came down to 500; not what we wanted. After this second treatment he came down to.......8.63, after his lab work last week it has come down to 5.5. Only God can do that. Thank you everyone for the continued prayers, thoughts, cards, text and phone calls. God is good and we are so very grateful and give him all the glory for Ricks healing.
