Wheww... i dont even know how to describe the feeling i have right now.. attended The Anonymous People @ Umass Lowell.. i walk into the librarym. A young girl came up to me with an older woman .. she started to approach and said hi to me.. she looked real familiar to me.. then she said your name is Heather... i replied yes. Young girl stated her name and i imnediately remembered her from a detox. She introduced me to her mom and the girl said.. it is because i heard you at CAB Danvers.. she looked very healthy which i acknowledged that. Mom asked me to sit with them ..she shook my hand and hugged me. She said she did not know what i said at the commitment/meeting but thanked me for giving her daughter back to her. I said no it wasnt me that did that but it was your daughter..she is 8 months clean today and today she is well..... here they were telling me they were honored to be sitting with me..it really blew me away.... the satisfaction i felt inside is indescribeable... just to know that for today one thing i may have said stuck with someone.. i fight the battle as well as everyone else ... a sick individual trying to get well... wonderful night.. also my previous classmates attended the viewing as well...
