Which Arlington? The elephant in the room is that there are several Arlingtons and we need both to recognize that fact and start to stick them together. The Heart of Arlington, the University, the Plaza Heights, the Canals, southwest, southeast - all unique and all OK. Like a large family with disparately talented kids. Bringing it together with respect and passion is what we want. Hows this idea for a start? Imagine an annual run/ride that took people on a winding path from #ThePlaza around East Arlington, through the University and into Downtown. Imagine a huge festival attracting artists and performers from across north TX into the REAL heart of the metroplex - the real center geographically, spiritually, artistically. Now imagine the media from across the country asking who are those guys called Arlington in the middle of North Texas who have totally gotten their sh*t together and are showing people how its done. You may say Im a dreamer. but Im not the only one.
