Which would be more worth? Huion 580 or Huion K58? I had noticed two pen drawing tablets on Amazon store called Huion 580 and Huion K58 one month ago, and I didn’t know how to make a choice. It was easy to know that the K58 is a little expensive than 580. I was confused that they almost look the same in appearance, why the prices are different. In order to chase away my questions and I make a comparison between them. Similarities: Same active area: They come with the same active area of 8×5 inches which is big enough for me to draw. I draw for fun. This big size allows me to draw without any restriction and I can draw freely for creative. Same pen pressure sensitivity: Both of them have the same pen pressure of 2048 levels which means they can draw various lines with width and opacity. If I want to draw slender lines, I can press the stylus softly. While to draw wide lines, I just need to press the stylus heavily. Same functions: Although they have the different prices, the functions for these two pen drawing tablets are the same. They are used to edit digital photos, paintings and drawings. And sometimes, worked as a pen signer, word annotation are common. Differences: The reasons why they have the various prices lie in the differences between them. Different resolutions and report rates: The resolution is used to judge whether the picture is clear or not and the report rate can affect the sensitive reaction. After knowing this, we can find that Huion 580 comes with the resolution of 4000LPI and report rate of 220RPS. While Huion K58 has the different setting, the resolution is 5080LPI and report rate is 230RPS. It is easy for me to draw the conclusion K58 has more clear resolution of the picture and faster sensitive reaction. Different pens: I think this is the key point of their differences. Huion 580 comes with a battery pen and the K58 has a rechargeable pen. A battery pen means the pen works depend on the power of the battery. And the rechargeable pen seems superior because the pen can be full charged after two hours charging. It can work longer. The comparison result has come out and I decided to buy Huion 580 because the price is the vital element for me. And I am an amateur, 580 is much suitable for me.
