While 90% seats of University Institute of Technology, Burdwan University will be filled through the WBJEE 2015, 10% seats will be filled through Management Quota. Also, 80-90% of the seats of Private Self Financing Colleges will be filled through WBJEE 2015 score and the reaming through Management Quota According to WBJEE 2015 eligibility criteria, applicants must have completed17 years of age at the time of admission or on or before December 31, 2015. There is no upper age limit for Engineering/Architecture/Technology courses while for Marine Engineering course applicants must not be above 25 years of age as on July 31, 2015. The application procedure of WBJEE 2015 is likely to begin in the first week of December 2014. The WBJEE 2015 application forms can be filled online and fee can be remitted through bank or post office e- Challan. The examination authority will announce the detail procedure of WBJEE 2015 application tentatively in the month of October or November, 2014. WBJEE 2015 exam will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority WBJEEB. According to officials, the WBJEE 2015 syllabus will be based more on depth of the syllabi rather than extent of coverage. For the academic session of 2015, more descriptive topics have been either omitted or given less importance than the analytical ones. The booklet of WBJEE 2015 exam will have 250 questions carrying 1 mark each. The WBJEE 2015 question booklet will have 100 question from Mathematics and 75 questions from physics and Chemistry each. The exam duration for Mathematics paper will be of 2 hours while for Physics and Chemistry the duration is 01:30 minutes.
