While Chuck takes a breather and gets his wits together after a grueling few days I need to make a personal post. We were met with great opposition about not having a LIST last week when we presented the HUGE list this week. I will defend this as Sgt Bashlor called me last week and stated there were many animals at the shelter but not one was in danger of being euthanized. WE made the decision together to not use this page EVER if they were not going to be euthanized. THIS page is not for advertising of adoptable dogs and cats BUT only for those who WILL BE EUTHANIZED on Thursday if not adopted. THIS page is very transparent and if I ever put one on here who really is not in danger then it looses it integrity. I take full responsibilty for the decision made last week! Little did we know that during the week the shelter would fill up. BUT.....THIS page will remain soley for the ones who WILL BE euthanized each week. Thank you for understanding that simple fact. Also, I wanted to give a huge shout out to the co-partner of THE LIST Chuck MIchio this week. He has spent 14 and 16 hours a day handling calls, networking and following up on all VET references. Without his effort this week I simply could not do it. HUGE..HUGE week for all of us and the thankfulness I feel right now is unending. THIS is NOT an easy job and without the support of all the animal lovers out there it could not work. I am beyond grateful ! After he collects himself and puts together the albums he will be thanking many of you personally!
