While I agree with DafyddElis Thomas about an inclusive Welsh indentity, a civic concept. That concept presumes any migrants to Wales want to be part of it. On a day when Tariq Ali can write in the Guardian in support of Scottish independence, it would seem that other people are trying to define what it means to be Scots, (or Welsh?) .Does this spat in Plaid reflect a more fundamental difference in direction?. the existence of the Assembly may have altered the stance of Labour and the Conservatives, but UKIP is another kettle of fish.Its friends in Brussels seem to consist of far right fringe parties, and you judge people by their friends. I think Leanne Wood is wise distancing Plaid from UKIP , it looks as if their agenda s are different.
