While I can imagine what his wife and daughters felt on this visit, it is inconceivable as POTUS, that President Obama could visit the House of Slaves on Goree Island, Dakar, Senegal, and come back to America and look us descendants of slaves in our eyes, ignore our history, our conditions and our plight in this country, and not take historical initiatives that would effectively bring about substantive and sustainable change for the better to our lives.
