While I celebrate Keke Palmer for being the First Black Cinderella, I cannot help but be disturbed by the fact that any First Black connotation to ANY achievement for a black woman still perpetuates the notion that Black (especially women) achievements are the EXCEPTION and not the Rule. We are not the exception. It was a racist and ugly society that brainwashed us with that poison. Free your mind and your soul from that mental slavery.
