While I had posted one or two of these before, I didnt recall having this many still in my possession. Blue Cards were part of Johnsons positive behavior initiative. Started by our principal, Robert Puckett, students would earn checks or signatures from teachers for positive things. You could then cash-in your cards for various things. In junior high school I know you could cash them in for the game room and you also had to have a certain number of cards in order to go on the junior high trip to Tremont or Skidiway Island. When the program first started (think in my 3rd grade year), the cards were actually on the manila art paper or paper like that...they were not blue at that time. If you got in trouble, you received a red card and you had to get it filled before you could get your blue card(s) back and use for fun things. I also didnt remember students signing the cards for teachers. FYI Kenneth Finley who signed on one of these for the teacher. We used paper tape to tape cards end-to-end and fold them up accordion style in order to keep up with them and carry in our pocket.
