While I know it is far more likely that I and all of the works - TopicsExpress

While I know it is far more likely that I and all of the works which I create will be passed along in relative obscurity, and that all of my creative efforts are already protected from commercial exploitation by others, I need not forego an effort to declare that my rights are attached to all my personal data, drawings, paintings, photos, texts etc... published on my profile. My written consent is required at all times for commercial use of the foregoing --whether or not I post this note. Those reading this text can copy it and paste it on their Facebook wall and, arguably, this will reveal how little they are aware of existing copyright laws (which already afford them the protection of copyright). Actually, by this release, I tell Facebook that it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, broadcast, or to take any other action against me on the basis of this profile and/or its contents. The actions mentioned above apply equally to employees, students, agents and/or other staff under the direction of Facebook. I most certainly could aim legal action against anyone commercially exploiting my said intellectual property, but really, everyone who is unfamiliar with copyright law is posting notes like this one, and they dont have a clue that these laws already exist and that as soon as someone commercially exploits your efforts, Facebook or any other commercial entity places itself at more risk than the benefit garnered by the exploitation of any said intellectual property you may think is worth protecting. Most likely we all will perish in relative obscurity--so fear not the sharks: Fear the horses.
