While I love the convenience of the cell and all the techy stuff nice and fun or whatever... but for not even 2 minutes I stole my eyes away from the touch screen of my smartphone and just observed people around me while I was out to lunch; No faces. Foreheads. Not all but most of them had their eyes glued to their phone. Two people at lunch together sit across from one another just tapping away..A mother with a stroller and her eldest daughter trying her best to capture her mothers (assuming thats her mom) attention tugging and pointing. A group of people all sitting together spending more time on their pricey cell phones oops i mean toys.. Now, dont get me wrong, Ive done some of that myself at some point. Just one minute and watch, in public, just how many of us are actually present in their immediate surroundings. How did we ever survive before cellphones? Its whatever. My point? I miss the art of talking, or more rather, time set out for just conversation. Conversing and interacting... whered that go? /end rant
