While I was away on hols, we went to Durham Cathedral - hadnt been for a few years, although I used to visit regularly. Magnificent building. But - just wanted to say - they have a stained glass window there, by Thomas Denny, who is the creator of the new window which is also going to be put in Leicester Cathedral. I thought the one in Durham was amazing - if the new Leicester one is anywhere near as beautiful and, indeed, powerful, it will really be a treasure to behold! durham.anglican.org/news-and-events/news-article.aspx?id=147
