While I was in grad school one amazing young lady (they were all younger than me LOL!) noted that the way government or any entity with power keeps people from progressing is to encourage that we point out our differences. White vs. Black, Native vs. Immigrant, Poor vs. Rich, Old vs. Young, Gay vs. Straight. The list is as they would say is longer than my arm. F.D.R. at the outset of of WWII stated that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. We found then that when we are united in a common goal we can overcome great obstacles. Racism like any "ism" can only be stamped out one person at a time. We must join together and walk forth together putting aside all things that do not glorify The Creator of All. We after all are each one made in His image.
