While I was on the obstacle course this morning, I was thinking that I was grateful to be chosen. Chosen to do the will of GOD. I swear to God I was thinking just that. Then, my phone rang...it was my sponsor...a little early, but Im always grateful for that call. The question was why do I feel chosen over those still suffering? Loaded question...and I might add, much more complex than I can answer...But here is how I see it (partially)....At my most desperate (and I lived, wow) I became a little less resistant to living a spiritual way of life......as time went on....it became evident that the benefits of living this spiritual life were far exceeding the animal way I was living before. Today, obedience to, not only human laws, to spiritual laws and principles has become easier and a part of life. Just by getting out of myself and being available to help others has increased the quality of life for me and my family..and ultimately, to those around me......Im a believer! Then Peter came and said to Him, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him?
