While I was out running errands today a petite elderly woman struck up a conversation with me about the pink studs she wore in her ears. Her: Theyre for the fight against breast cancer. Its such a horrible disease, you know? Me: Yes, I know and agree. I have several friends who have been diagnosed and are survivors or undergoing treatment. Her: It took my daughter from me. Broke my heart. Im wearing pink to church tomorrow in her honor and to support the effort to find a cure. Me: Im so sorry for your loss. Just because I met you, and to join in supporting the cause, Ill wear pink tomorrow too. #PleaseJoinUs #WearPinkToWorship
